Aperam came to Technigro with the question whether a telescopic cover of 6 elements, with a maximum length of 3200 mm, could be reconditioned. After receiving the damaged telescopic cover, Technigro decided, in consultation with Aperam, to recondition part of the telescopic cover and to make part of the elements new.

The work

All scraper holders and rubbers were renewed in this way. The reusable elements are dented, focused and sanded. The new elements are made to fit the reused elements. in this way a well-functioning telescopic cover emerged and it was as good as new.
